Linking to sections, chapters, paragraphs with page numbers

Section references (often called section links) can be used in Tangelo to created links to sections that are automatically updated if the section changes or moves. Page numbers can be added also. There are some different properties that a section reference can use. 

Depending on the configuration of the customer, the settings can be different. 

First select a text or place the cursor where the section link should appear in the text. 

Then go to Insert on the top ribbon and select References and there Section.

Depending on the display option, a final step is needed after the link has been added. Click on the label (1) and choose 'properties' (2):

In the property panel on the right the 'show' property can be set accordingly:
By default Text is selected, this will link the selected text in Tangelo as a link. 

The above setting wil result in the following link being added in the text.  Depending on the settings, the output will change. 

Finally, if you want to test the PDF output and check if the link is working you need to generate a PDF file of the whole (*) Tangelo document.

Adding page numbers automatically

The property Show between parenthesis allowes for page numbers to be added after the section link name. Independently from what should be shown. For instance from page x to page y, displaying the first and last page of that specific section.
