If the image is not yet available in the Tangelo system using images usually involves two steps:
- uploading the image
- inserting the image in the document(s)
When uploading images in Tangelo it is important to keep in mind what the intended purpose of the images. Will it be used within the text areas of the document? Or will it mainly be used as a background image.
1. uploading the image
In the Images screen (1) new images can be uploaded using the +button (2).
The collection will determine which users can use the image (3).
As mentioned the image type needs to be set (4). Usually in-text and background image types are available, and additional image types depending on the design possibilities.
On the right the different versions/'renditions' of the image can be uploaded (5).
2. inserting the image in the document(s)
When the image versions are uploaded and available in the system they can then be inserted in the document(s).
Open the document section where the images needs to be inserted and after clicking on the desired spot choose the 'Image' button from the 'INSERT' menu:
When you have located the image click on it and it will be inserted:
Using the Properties panel on the right (1) and navigation ribbon below (2) additional settings can be adjusted:
