Introduction
Use this article when preparing a report for filing with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK) using the SBR taxonomy. Each primary financial statement must have a statement type assigned to ensure the report can be validated correctly.
Summary
After following these steps, the appropriate statement type is assigned to each primary statement. This helps the XBRL engine correctly identify the financial statements and prevents validation errors during export.
Steps
- Open the table of a primary financial statement.
- Verify that the required XBRL containers have already been assigned.
Locate the statement type indicator in the top-right corner of the table.
If no statement type has been configured, the table displays No statement type set.
- Click the property icon next to the statement type indicator.
- Open the XBRL - Statement type property.
- Click Add next to the property.
- Click Click to select an item.
- Select the appropriate statement type from the available list.
- Repeat these steps for all primary financial statements in the report.
Expected Result
The selected statement type is assigned to the financial statement and is displayed in the table instead of No statement type set.
All primary financial statements have a statement type assigned and can be processed correctly during XBRL validation and export.
Remarks
- Statement types are required for reports using the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK) taxonomy.
- Missing statement types will result in validation errors in the XBRL validation report.
