Generate an XBRL package for auditors and filing

Introduction

Use this article when your iXBRL report has been validated and you want to generate the final filing package for review by auditors or submission to the relevant authority.

Summary

After following these steps, you will have a downloadable .xbri file containing the complete iXBRL package, including the report, taxonomy information, and filing metadata.

Steps

1. Open the document.
2. Open the hamburger menu.
3. Select XBRL.
4. Click the Play button to generate and validate the iXBRL package.
5. Review and resolve any validation errors if necessary.
6. Once the conversion has completed successfully, click the Download button.
7. Save the generated .xbri file.

Expected Result

A .xbri file is downloaded to your device. This file contains the complete iXBRL package and can be:

• Shared with auditors for review.
• Imported into external iXBRL inspection tools.
• Submitted to the relevant authority.

Remarks

• The .xbri file contains the report, taxonomy information, extensions, and all other data required for the filing.
• Do not modify the contents or name of the .xbri file after downloading.
• Tangelo only exports the final .xbri package and does not generate separate files containing the tagging information.
