Download an Excel containing used block tags

Introduction

Use this article when you want to review all tags that have been applied in your document. Tangelo can generate an Excel report containing all used inline tags, block tags, and ESRS disclosure tags.

Steps

1. Open the document.
2. Open the hamburger menu.
3. Select Export.
4. In the export dialog, open the download options dropdown.
5. Select XBRL Block Tag Report.
6. Start the export.
7. Download the generated Excel file.

Expected Result

An Excel file is downloaded containing an overview of all tags used in the document.

Depending on the document configuration, the report may include:

• Inline tags
• Block tags
• ESRS disclosure tags

The report also contains information that can help identify potential tagging issues.

Remarks

• The report provides a convenient way to review which tags have been applied throughout the document.
• The exported file can be used during internal reviews, auditor reviews, or quality assurance checks.
• The report only contains tags that are currently present in the document at the time of export.
• Certain indicators next to the section title show whether:
  • A block tag is nested within another block tag.
  • An invalid tag has been applied.
• Reviewing these indicators before generating the final iXBRL package can help prevent validation warnings and tagging inconsistencies.
