Introduction
If the XBRL button is not visible in a document, one or more prerequisites for accessing XBRL functionality may not be met.
Summary
Verify that XBRL is enabled on the document type and that you have Manager access to the document. If your access was recently updated, reopen the document from the document overview.
Overview
The XBRL button is only available when specific permissions and document settings are in place.
The following conditions must be met:
- XBRL configuration is activated on the document type.
- You have Manager privileges to the document.
An Administrator user profile is not required. Users with a Standard profile can access XBRL functionality if they have Manager privileges to the document.
Steps
- Verify that XBRL configuration is activated on the document type.
- Verify that you have Manager privilege to the document.
- If Manager access was granted recently, return to the document overview.
- Open the document again.
- Check whether the XBRL button is now visible.
