Footnotes in linked tables can be created using the setup below in Excel, using the Notes property of cells:
After uploading the Excel above and syncing the document in Tangelo the footnote will be created and displayed:
- Attention! Make sure you are using Excel notes (yellow area/'geeltje') and not Excel comments to enter the footnote text. See this link for more information.
- It is also possible to use the same footnote text for multiple cells, which will then create one footnote and multiple references. In that case make sure every note text is exactly the same.
- If you need more than 1 one footnote on the same table cell use the 'fn:' prefix to distinguish between the footnote texts:
