Introduction
Use this article when you want to add a new image to Tangelo for use in PDFs, websites, or iXBRL outputs. During the upload process, you select an image collection and image type before uploading the required image files and renditions.
The base image is always required. This image is shown in the editor and is used as the default image for outputs that do not use a specific rendition. Additional renditions can optionally be uploaded for PDF or website use cases. iXBRL renditions are generated automatically based on the base image.
Image types are configured in Tangelo and determine which image qualities, dimensions, allowed file types, and renditions are available during upload.
