Images from the Tangelo image library can be added to documents in two ways:
- As an in-text image within the document content
- As a page insert for full-page designed visuals such as covers, chapter dividers, or background pages
This article focuses on adding an in-text image using the editor.
By default, inserted images are placed inline within the text flow. Using the Properties panel, images can also be positioned at fixed locations on the page, resized, configured for specific output formats, or combined with text wrapping behavior to create more advanced layouts.
When using fixed positioning, keep in mind that images affect the page layout. For example, placing an image at the top left or top right of a page can cause other content — including section titles or paragraphs — to shift position on the page.
