Introduction
Use this article when you need to recover content that was accidentally changed or removed. Tangelo automatically stores revisions of document sections, allowing you to restore a section to an earlier state when needed.
Summary
After following these steps, the selected section is restored to the content of a previous revision. The restoration itself is saved as a new revision, ensuring that no revision history is lost.
Steps
- Open the document.
- Navigate to the section you want to restore.
- Open the Revisions tab in the right sidebar.
- Select the revision you want to restore from the revision list.
- Click the red Restore Revision button.
- Confirm the action if prompted.
Expected Result
The selected section is restored to the content of the chosen revision. A new revision is automatically created based on the restored version.
Remarks
- A new revision is created each time a user closes the editor after making changes.
- Restoring a revision affects only the selected section.
- Because the restoration is saved as a new revision, you can always return to a more recent revision if needed.
