No seats available when adding or activating a user

Introduction

Use this article when you create a new user account, or try to activate an inactive one, and Tangelo notifies you that no seats are available. This means your license has no free seats left for an additional active user.

When you see this

The notification appears when no seats are available and you create a user account:

For inactive user accounts, a notification is shown stating that no seats are currently available.

How to resolve it

You have several options to proceed:

  • Free up a seat. Deactivate an existing active user account.
  • Convert a user to a Reviewer profile. Change an existing user from a Standard or Administrator profile to a Reviewer profile, which doesn't count toward your license seats.
  • Request additional seats. Contact your Tangelo consultant for a quote.

Full reviewer feature
Converting a user to a Reviewer profile won't free up a seat if your Tangelo application uses the Full reviewer feature, as Full reviewer profiles count toward their separate number of available seats.
