Introduction

Use this article when you want to connect a document to a new data source instead of reusing an existing one. Before files can be uploaded and synchronized, a data source must be created.

Steps

  1. Navigate to Data Sources.
  2. Open the data source management overview.
  3. Click the + button.
  4. Select the data source type.
  5. Enter a name for the data source.
  6. Optionally enter a description.
  7. Click the red + button to create the data source.

Expected Result

A new data source is created and available in the data source management overview.

Remarks

  • The + button is only visible to users with the required permissions (standard or administrator user profile).
  • After creating a data source, you can configure user permissions. Click on the data source from the data source management overview and go to Privileges.
