Hide a data source from selection lists

Introduction

Use this article when a data source is no longer actively used but should remain available in the platform. Hiding a data source removes it from selection lists, helping keep data source overviews and dropdown menus organized.

Summary

After following these steps, the selected data source is hidden from selection lists. The setting can be reversed at any time.

Steps

1. Navigate to Data Sources tab.
2. Go to the data source management overview.
   
3. Open the data source you want to hide.
4. Locate the Hidden in selection lists property.
5. Select the checkbox.
6. Save the changes if required.

To make the data source visible again, clear the Hidden in selection lists checkbox.

Remarks

• Hiding a data source does not delete it.
• Existing documents and table connections continue to function normally.
• Only users with the required permissions can change this setting.
