Use footnotes to provide additional explanations, references, sources, or clarifications without interrupting the main flow of the text. Footnotes can be added throughout a document and are commonly used for references, disclosures, source information, and explanatory notes.
In Tangelo, footnotes can be created directly in text, titles, and non-linked tables. You can also create references to existing footnotes within the same section to avoid repeating identical footnote text.
Footnotes in linked tables are handled differently and are described in a separate article.
